Does the Rhino Whole of House Filter Remove Calcium?

All non-ionic (suspended rather than dissolved) calcium will be removed. The Rhino Whole of House and the shower water filter will change the calcium to aragonite, which will be much less likely to scale. Please refer to www.kdfft.com for a complete explanation.

Please refer to the following link which discusses aragonite, the substance that is formed when calcium passes through the electromagnetic field created by the +1/-1 charge of KDF-55; http://mineral.galleries.com/minerals/carbonat/aragonit/aragonit.htm

Aragonite is less likely to scale pipes and fixtures, although it will still cause scaling if the water is allowed to evaporate. This means that furnace plates will be preserved by the Rhino’s KDF-55 changing the calcium ions to aragonite ions.

Please note the The Rhino Whole of House Water Filter is not a water softener, however it will assist with calcium/hardness issues with bore water.

Here in Broome, our water is really high in calcium. Would the filter get rid of some of this calcium?
