If sediment is an issue with your current water supply, installing the pre-filter kit will ensure long life for your replacement cartridges so water quality is not compromised.
The pre-filter can be attached to both countertop and undersink units.
This pre-filter is for the Aquasana Countertop Water Filter, which includes 1 cartridge and is a replacement for your current tap divertor plus hoses.
The pre-filter cartridges are to be replaced approximately every 3 months (the pre-filter cartridges are visible when installed and need to be replaced when there are no white areas left). The replacement cartridges are $12 each and can be added to the Water 4 Life program for auto shipping.
